We went for breakfast as a couple, paying cash with the exact amount ready, and were shocked when a service charge was added to the bill.
Can confirm, we were there last week and they also added 8% without a word. We only noticed it on the receipt.
Same thing happened to us, the waiter didn't mention it at all. When asked, he said it's "standard practice".
Breakfast for 70 PLN + 8% service = almost 76 PLN. The info is now in the menu but in fine print at the very bottom.
